And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. – Matthew 4:19-20
Be Trained to Lead Others to Jesus
We believe the best Church leaders are the ones who are vessels for God – Who totally surrender and truly let Jesus be the One Head, Mind, and Leader of His Church. Leadership is learning to let the Holy Spirit take over and deny your own way. Anyone can do this program because the victory is from God.
“Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” – 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 ESV
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 ESV
Schedule

Here you can see a schedule of the week. You can click the image to enlarge it.
If you want spiritual growth, but just don’t have a plan, this is for you. When you dedicate a great deal of time and energy into personally applying the Blood of Jesus and Holy Spirit of God to your life, not only will you see an amazing impact, everyone around you will see with their own eyes the power, light, and love of Christ offered. They will see what they want in you, and you can help them also be transformed by bringing them to know the love of Christ.
Master the Basics

One thing all leaders of revivals and disciple-making movements have in common is that they all are people who spend an incredible amount of time in prayer. “We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” – Acts 6:3-4
Because we see this in the life of Jesus our model, we want to also have verses ready to proclaim for any and every spiritual battle. So we will also be spending a good bit of time in Scripture memorization. “and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,” – Ephesians 6:17

Basics are basics for a reason. Churches with a strong prayer ministry and heart devoted to God’s Word see a marked difference.
A New Commandment
There will be times in ministry you feel like you’re drowning while your trying to take care of others. A strong support group that forms, becomes close, and goes beyond the nine months is irreplaceable. We all need help. So we will do bonding activities and growing closer to one another, forming a group that can be there for one another for the rest of our lives.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35 ESV
Evangelize and Make Disciples
As you are being invested in you will also learn how to invest in others through hands-on learning how to disciple people.
Learn how to start and lead a discipleship group, Bible study, and prayer group. Also learn how to do a house church/small group. Learn ways of personally investing in people and helping others grow.
Learn and practice how to evangelize too. How to bring the Gospel to the world.
And, we will learn how to help the Body of Christ as a whole flourish in bringing the Kingdom together. Agape Academy will not be isolated, but helping the churches and nonprofits around us. We will be actively involved and learning about various ministries within the church.
Through a variety of ways we will be serving churches and volunteering at Christian nonprofits. Learn how to do what various other pastors/ministers/workers do too. Be apprenticed in these ways by them. Each student will also learn your gifts and how to put them to use.
There is an incredible amount of good material on disciple-making, evangelism, and inspiring your church to have momentum and vision for the Kingdom of God. We will be studying and putting them into practice.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”” – Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
